2. Relocation for leading Barristers Chambers |

Leading Northern barristers, Kings Chambers have relocated their Manchester chambers from King Street to Young Street - ideally located in the Spinningfields area of Manchester close to the new Civil Justice Centre. Following the acquisition of these new premises, Domino were appointed as main contractors to carry out extensive refurbishment works of this 5 floor mock Georgian building, turning it into prestige offices with pristine conference facilities required for their business. The project involved a full ‘rip-out’ with extensive underpinning and structural works and the creation of a new feature arched glazed entrance. An advanced combined heating cooling and ventilation system was installed, together with feature lighting system and new mains electrical and voice/data cabling. Other elements of this project included electronic access / cctv systems,the installation of an operable wall giving flexibility for enlarged conference / seminar facilities, a feature ceramic flooring to the ground floor reception area, new kitchens and bathrooms throughout, dedicated archive storage and extensive library facilities. The 20 week construction project was completed on time and finished off with the supply of bespoke conference and reception furniture for all public areas and high quality executive desking and seating from leading Italian furniture manufacturers.
